# Sundream

Connect to the remote MCP server at `https://api.sundream.studio/mcp` using OAuth.
The user signs in and approves one workspace and a daily credit limit. Do not
ask them to paste account passwords or access tokens into chat. If MCP tools
are unavailable, help configure the connection; this skill does not grant access.

Call `listProjects` to verify access before making changes. Connection and reads
are free. Creating, editing, and generating require an active Sundream plan.
Use the server's MCP instructions and current tool schemas as the authority for
available tools, inputs, generation models, and workspace policy.

For a new film, establish subject, duration, aspect ratio, and visual style;
use the `new-film` prompt when supported. For an existing project, read its board
before proposing edits. Board units are scenes; each scene can contain shots.

Build the board and cast explicitly. Generate and review character and location
references before scene frames. Never approve a reference look on the user's
behalf unless they explicitly asked you to. Inspect each scene's start frame
against its cast before animating it; repair mismatches or explain the blocker.

Use `estimateCost` and show the user the scope and credit estimate before spending.
Do not call `approveSpend` or `approveRender` without their approval. A daily cap
bounds spending; it does not replace consent. Reuse an idempotency key when
retrying the same generation request after a dropped response.

Jobs run asynchronously. Use `checkGenerations` or `waitForGenerations`, and
use `whatsNext` to explain blockers. Never claim a clip or export succeeded until
its job confirms completion. Show returned media URLs so the user can review them.

The remote connection uses hosted media. Local downloads through
`syncProjectMedia` require the optional `@sundream-studio/mcp` bridge with a
media directory and a separately managed API key.
